Gavin is so creative. He came up to me today and said, “Look Mom, it’s a spider hanging from the attic.” He cracks me up.

Day 344
This week we have been packing like crazy, so the girls take turns reading to Grey. It is so helpful, and he enjoys it too.
Day 343
Today was Gavin’s birthday, and I snapped this picture of him as he got to see his cake for the first time.
Day 342
I took Gavin outside today and he drew letters all over the patio. He knows the whole alphabet, and was even telling me about big letters and little letters (upper case and lower case); Gavin is very, very smart.

Day 338
Gavin posted this sign on his door. It reads: Mom—keep out. If you come in, I will toss you out. Hilarious!
Day 337
Here is the crumpled addendum from this pending sale on the home. I hope this sale goes through. It’s been such a process to get to this point, so I really am hoping it works.
Day 330
This sad/happy yellow cup (it’s empty by the way) represents our decision to not have any more children. The test came back that John’s vasectomy still hasn’t worked yet, but we’re getting there.

Day 328
Kids can fall asleep in the strangest positions. This looks so uncomfortable, but Grey cried when I took him out. I guess he has figure out something that I haven’t about the best type of sleeping position.
Day 327
Today I looked at Gavin’s feet and they just looked like the feet of a grown man. He is getting so old, and his feet were like this tiny glimpse of the fact that he’s now a toddler anymore. His feet actually reminded me of my dad’s for a minute. (I had to use mine to hold his up for the picture in case you’re wondering about that floating foot).
Day 326
We brought the jumping jenny out again for Grey to swing in, and the girls thought it was an actual swing and wanted to push him back and forth.
Day 325
This picture reminds me of Brittny. This is a hibiscus flower and it’s tropical. She would appreciate it so much, although I’d just as much prefer a daisy. But, they grow in my yard. Such irony.
Day 324
I really enjoyed Jenny’s visit. It was so nice to spend time with her, and I got addicted to Boggle. It was nice to have a competitive partner to play with.
Day 323
We promised the kids all week we could have a movie night, so we did a fun ice cream bar with all sorts of toppings. They ate all the chocolate chips and M&M’s and left the nuts. Whatever! They also ate all the strawberries, so I guess I should stop complaining.
Day 317
This picture was a day late, but Grey has been sitting up so well lately. He even sits up in his play chair and sits in front of his toys.
Day 315
Gavin did this really creative drawing, and I had to take a picture of it. I love that his eye is showing through one of the holes in the picture.

Day 313
This right here is one of the worst things ever. Every time before we have to take someone back to the airport, they bring their bag downstairs. I sit and look at it and it really hits me that they are leaving and I can’t just go and visit them any time I want. It sucks!
Day 312
I snapped this picture on Sunday night after dad had gone to bed. I saw Dad’s glasses, wallet and hat sitting out, and it’s both a wonderful and a sad thing. It’s wonderful because these things of Dad’s are always together it seems and it reminds me of him, but it’s sad because I knew he would be going back to Utah soon.
Day 311
I went in and saw John, Grey and this little dog having a merry old time hanging out. It was pretty cute.
Day 310
The kids just loved seeing dad. I mean, they just really, really enjoyed him this time. I think they are finally old enough to really get what grandparents are.
Day 309
Dad came to visit today, and it was a big surprise for the kids. I forgot to get any actual pictures (I’m SOOO smart!), but they sure had a lot of fun reading with him over the next few days.
Day 307
As soon as the weather starts to get warm, we really break out the ice cream cones. I love them! They remind me of being a kid, but they’re also so tasty (cones, not kids).
Day 306
Here is a picture of Grey’s highchair. He has really learned how to grab things lately, so he gets an assortment of toys when he’s sitting and watching me make dinner.
Day 305
Every Easter, we buy the kids a sugar cereal (I don’t know why I thought this was such a good tradition to start). Here are there bowls after they got to eat their magical Trix and Cocoa Puffs.

Day 304
I’d been promising the girls we’d have a movie night so we cold watch “Tangled,” so I finally gave in this Saturday and did it. They dressed up with high heels, headbands, and jewelry. Here is their jewelry that they left sitting on the table. They are so girly!
Day 303
Today when I put the clean laundry on the bed to fold, Grey immediately grabbed for the nearest piece of clothing to suck on, and of course, it happened to be a pair of Gavin’s underwear (clean, but still). EWWW!
Day 302
Gavin wants to be in control of the remote to the kitchen radio all the time. He goes over there and switches the station to some music he likes, and then dances to it.
Day 301
Day 300
We had a showing today, and I put Grey on the bed while we got the last minute things together. He looks so content.

Day 297
John bought doughnuts this morning for breakfast. Yum! I love seeing bakery boxes. They seem rather magical, and they remind me of when my mom used to go to the Lehi Bakery and buy me a little treat. I think it was my mom anyway. I just remember the bakery party of it and looking at the cases.

Day 296
Today Gavin got a “mega mind” sticker from the doctor’s office. He had me put it on a paper and then he stuck it in this frame in his room, covering up the original cross-stitch. It was so amusing.
Day 295
The kids all sat in Gavin’s room today and colored with him because he’s still sick. He was very, very nice and shared his crayons and his Toy Story coloring book.
