Day 340

Here I am getting the snack box ready for the day. It’s the best idea ever!

Day 339

Here is John and the boys playing video games on a Saturday morning.

Day 338

Gavin posted this sign on his door. It reads: Mom—keep out. If you come in, I will toss you out. Hilarious!

Day 337

Here is the crumpled addendum from this pending sale on the home. I hope this sale goes through. It’s been such a process to get to this point, so I really am hoping it works.

Day 336

Here is me and Brit, the awesomely awesome sisters.DSC09608

Day 335

Here is Aunt Brit meeting Grey for the first time.DSC09588

Day 334

We have all these lotions for teacher appreciation next week. I think it’s fun to show gratitude.DSC09587

Day 333

Grey has this cute little Tigger from Stefani, and he loves it!DSC09584

Day 332

Gavin and Emma made this fun little car and were pushing it all around. I love when they get along.

Day 331

The day of no picture. Bad Mel!

Day 330

This sad/happy yellow cup (it’s empty by the way) represents our decision to not have any more children. The test came back that John’s vasectomy still hasn’t worked yet, but we’re getting there.

Day 329

I went out to the patio today and saw this hilarious sign. “Emma did it!” DSC09568s

Day 328

Kids can fall asleep in the strangest positions.  This looks so uncomfortable, but Grey cried when I took him out.  I guess he has figure out something that I haven’t about the best type of sleeping position.

Day 327

Today I looked at Gavin’s feet and they just looked like the feet of a grown man.  He is getting so old, and his feet were like this tiny glimpse of the fact that he’s now a toddler anymore.  His feet actually reminded me of my dad’s for a minute. (I had to use mine to hold his up for the picture in case you’re wondering about that floating foot).

Day 326

We brought the jumping jenny out again for Grey to swing in, and the girls thought it was an actual swing and wanted to push him back and forth.

DSC09558

Day 325

This picture reminds me of Brittny.  This is a hibiscus flower and it’s tropical.  She would appreciate it so much, although I’d just as much prefer a daisy.  But, they grow in my yard.  Such irony.

DSC09539

Day 324

I really enjoyed Jenny’s visit.  It was so nice to spend time with her, and I got addicted to Boggle.  It was nice to have a competitive partner to play with.

DSC09546

Day 323

We promised the kids all week we could have a movie night, so we did a fun ice cream bar with all sorts of toppings.  They ate all the chocolate chips and M&M’s and left the nuts.  Whatever!  They also ate all the strawberries, so I guess I should stop complaining.

DSC09531

Day 322

The kids had so much fun with Aunt Jenny.  It was a fantastic week.

DSC09544

Day 321

Aunt Jenny was very nice and agreed to Gavin some green dinosaur claws.  He was thrilled!

Day 320

Jenny came to visit today, and she has been waiting so long to meet baby Grey.

DSC09555

Day 319

The kids had so much fun with a surprise visit from Grandma and Grandpa Davis.

DSC09528

Day 318

John did his triathlon today for the second year in a row.  I’m so proud of him!

DSC09519

Day 317

This picture was a day late, but Grey has been sitting up so well lately. He even sits up in his play chair and sits in front of his toys.

Day 316

This picture made me smile.  These boys are so cute together.

DSC09507

Day 315

Gavin did this really creative drawing, and I had to take a picture of it.  I love that his eye is showing through one of the holes in the picture.

DSC09504

Day 314

I love, love, love when the kids get along, and I love that the girls can read to Gavin now.

Day 313

This right here is one of the worst things ever.  Every time before we have to take someone back to the airport, they bring their bag downstairs.  I sit and look at it and it really hits me that they are leaving and I can’t just go and visit them any time I want.  It sucks!

DSC09467

Day 312

I snapped this picture on Sunday night after dad had gone to bed. I saw Dad’s glasses, wallet and hat sitting out, and it’s both a wonderful and a sad thing.  It’s wonderful because these things of Dad’s are always together it seems and it reminds me of him, but it’s sad because I knew he would be going back to Utah soon.

DSC09456

Day 311

I went in and saw John, Grey and this little dog having a merry old time hanging out.  It was pretty cute.

DSC09435

Day 310

The kids just loved seeing dad.  I mean, they just really, really enjoyed him this time.  I think they are finally old enough to really get what grandparents are.

DSC09413

Day 309

Dad came to visit today, and it was a big surprise for the kids.  I forgot to get any actual pictures (I’m SOOO smart!), but they sure had a lot of fun reading with him over the next few days.

DSC09446

Day 308

I love that Gavin is outside playing in his camo pajamas.  Hilarious!

DSC09409

Day 307

As soon as the weather starts to get warm, we really break out the ice cream cones.  I love them!  They remind me of being a kid, but they’re also so tasty (cones, not kids).

DSC09404

Day 306

Here is a picture of Grey’s highchair.  He has really learned how to grab things lately, so he gets an assortment of toys when he’s sitting and watching me make dinner.

DSC09400

Day 305

Every Easter, we buy the kids a sugar cereal (I don’t know why I thought this was such a good tradition to start).  Here are there bowls after they got to eat their magical Trix and Cocoa Puffs.
