Day 2

The kids rarely play for more than 10 minutes without fighting, but every time, without fail, they can play this game of theirs and be occupied for at least an hour.  I’m not even quite sure what this is, but it’s a cross between building a train, having a party, and cooking.  Do you see how Emma has the wooden spoon?  She is stirring something, and the plates are apparently for serving it.  The green papers on the left hand side are party decorations, and the blankets are who knows what.  They have so much fun with this, and lately they’ve even been cleaning it up when they’re done.DSC_1374

To me, this post is amazing because it shows that my kids are getting old enough to actually play together nicely.  They are being creative, which always makes me happy.  It also reminds me of when I was a kid, because this looks like something my sisters and I would have done.  I really enjoy moments like these.
